As an industry leader in ergonomic console design and personal comfort, we also provide you with many industry leading options to choose from including the Bramic Personal Comfort System that features blowing heat to the legs and feet. The Marathon™ 6/4... keeping pace with change
Table Features:
  • Sit-to-stand adjustability. Four standard duty electric DC motors provide height adjustability of the monitor and keyboard surfaces from ~23" to 50" and complies with the proposed BSR/HFES 100 ergonomic draft standard.
  • Heavy duty lift system comes with "Technology Lift". A heavy duty lift system is provided under the rear monitor surface when the "technology lift" option is selected. The heavy duty lift system provides a height adjustment range from ~28" to 48" in ~32 seconds and supports static loads up to 1100 lbs. The heavy duty lift system is available on all models.
  • Technically friendly center CPU storage. The center cabinet holds up to four CPU's, is vented for cooling and is available on both standard and "technology lift" models. The technology lift feature provides greater technical access and reduces cable lengths ad cable stresses. All cabinets feature an integral focal shelf that pulls forward to provide easy access for installation and maintenance.
  • Technically friendly multi-use side cabinets provide a new level of flexibility. Side cabinets can be used for filing, trash, personal storage or CPU storage. They can be placed next to the base or stacked to create a side cabinet tower.
  • Outstanding lift speed and weight handling capacity. The independent front and rear standard duty lift system travels a height range of 27" in ~14 seconds and supports a static load up to 360 lbs.
Work Surfaces:
  • Choice of modular, ergonomic work surface designs. Supports up to six 20" LCD monitors. Each design has been created with careful attention to workflow and personal comfort. Work surfaces are capable of being field modified to reduce in size to a Marathon™ 4 Call Taker position, if required.
  • Large multi-functional keyboard surface. Expansive input surfaces support multiple keyboards, mouse devices, phones and back-up equipment. Whether in a seated or standing position, the W-shaped input surface is designed to improve ergonomic comfort and work flow by providing easy access to touch screen monitors, printers, fax machines and rack mount radio equipment, while still leaving space for writing.
  • Optional secondary keyboard or phone riser. Reduces dispatcher reach and conserves work space when two or more keyboards or phones are required.
  • Dual independent height adjustable work surfaces. Fully independent keyboard and monitor surfaces provide height adjustability from ~23" to 50".
Cable Management:
  • Lay-in cable management eliminates fishing wires. A technically friendly snake tray and cable troughs eliminate cable stress while maintaining critical bend radius as the console moves from a seated to a standing position. Panel systems are not required for cable management which can significantly lower the cost of your console furniture.
  • Optional compact Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides true flexibility. The PDU provides for quick disconnect and reconnect without having to gain access to the cabling below a raised floor. This "future ready" feature will significantly reduce downtime and cost associated to console relocation.
  • Optional Communications Consolidation Point (CCP) provides maximum cabling flexibility. Moves/adds/changes are easily handled with the compact communications focal shelf that provides space for mounting multi-outlet devices or punch down blocks.
Safety Features on Sit-to-Stand Table:
  • Safety goes into every design on all Marathon™ consoles. All electrical and electronic components used in the assembly of Bramic consoles are UL/CSA Listed or UL/CSA Recognized for use in Canada and the United States. Additionally, each console is inspected for console grounding and bonding compliance and contains a CSA U.S. Field Evaluation label located under the keyboard work surface. This label provides proof that every console has been inspected and is in compliance with the appropriate standards.
  • Lift motors have overload protection. Ensures longevity of motors and comes equipped with an automatic reset.
Bramic Personal Comfort System (PCS):
  • Ventilation. Compact and recessed personal desktop air diffusers offer both horizontal and vertical directional controls providing optimum comfort without taking up valuable space on the work surface.
  • Circulating heat warms the legs and feet. A 250W or 500W circulating fan-forced heater with thermostatic control, assures personal comfort by providing warmth to the feet and legs.
  • Recessed dashboard control unit.Marathon Dispatch ConsoleIncludes 3-stage fan speed control for the filtered air, blowing heat on/off switch with indicator light, task light dimmer control and auto shut–off occupancy sensor for the PCS.
Privacy Panel Features:
  • Optional rear access panel system. Rear access pop-out panels (with recessed handles) allow technicians to access the CPU cabinet from the rear, without interfering with the dispatcher.
  • A variety of panel styles are available including acrylic window sections that taper to the sides. Allows for seated eye contact with other individuals and visual access to projection screens. A variety of acrylic heights are available which helps to minimize "voice bounce".
  • Personalized design/build options. Panels can be built with both acrylic and fabric sections and configured in multiple heights to provide acoustical and visual benefit.
"Future Ready" Flexibility:
  • Modular Design provides flexibility for the future. The Marathon™ 6/4 can be reconfigured to a Marathon™ 4 with minimal cost, disruption and time.
  • Marathon™ "Easy Relocation System". Marathon Dispatch ConsoleProvides for effortless console relocation and includes panel relocation with the console when the optional panel braces are used.
Lighting:
  • Integrated lighting solution is both flexible and user-friendly. Optional dimmable task lighting and indirect lighting can be attached to the console to ensure the lighting can be relocated with little disruption and minimal cost. Indirect lamps provide energy efficiency with 75% up-light and 25% down-light.
