BRAMIC PERSONAL COMFORT SYSTEM (BPCS)
Bramic offers a wide variety of accessory components that are designed to increase the personal comfort of the user and to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the daily work flow. The Bramic Personal Comfort System which features blowing heat to the legs and feet is a truly unique feature in the industry.

The monitor focal platform with built-in power center is another innovative solution that provides adjustability in order to establish the ideal focal distance of the monitors. It also provides easy access to power outlets for desk top monitors and back-up equipment.

Task Lighting and indirect lighting solutions are also available and help to create the proper lighting balance over the work surface.

Bramic Creative Business Products is pleased to introduce the most advanced Personal Comfort System in the industry. After conducting extensive market research with dispatchers who currently use other personal environment systems, it became clear that there was a need to improve the functionality, work space efficiency and ergonomic fit of the components that make up this system. Their candid feedback led us to develop several new features which included a fan forced heating system (not a radiant heat). Dispatchers indicated that other systems did not provide an adequate heat source to the legs and feet.

In addition to the circulated heat, the BPCS will also provide circulated, filtered airflow to the upper body through two bi-directional louvers that are recessed into the laminate surface and mounted inconspicuously. The louvers are flush with the surface and do not create an obstruction nor take up valuable work space on the keyboard surface.

The BPCS is controlled by what we refer to as a dashboard control panel that is mounted directly beneath the monitor surface providing ease of reach while eliminating the need for a bulky controller on the desk top. The control panel provides task light dimming, upper body fan speed adjustment and heater on/off control. The heater thermostat, which is located on the heater, can be preset to a recommended heat setting that best suits the building HVAC environment and the user simply controls the unit with an on/off switch. When the preset temperature is reached, the unit will shut down until the heater is required. An illuminated switch on the dashboard reminds the dispatcher that the heater is operational.

To provide optimum control and energy conservation, the BPCS has a built in occupancy sensor located below the keyboard surface that senses when a dispatcher is working at the console. The occupancy sensor will shut the complete system off in the event the console is not in use.

In addition to the features mentioned above, one of the greatest advantages of the BPCS is that we have been able to eliminate 3 bulky objects from the work surface (two large diffuser towers and one large controller unit). These objects previously occupied valuable space and created obstacles on the multi-use keyboard work surface.
